Quadrophenia
Quadrophenia was originally Who´s double-album
from 1973. It came with a 22-page booklet with photographs
of a young mod in the early sixties´Britain.
Turned into a movie in 1979, with following soundtrack,
with slightly changed songs.
Back in 1973, The Who did a couple of (lesser successful)
attempts to play Quadrophenia in its whole, but due
to the albums massive use of both synthersizers and
backingtracks, things didn´t always get as they
were planned. After that only a few songs from the album
were played live until 1997, when the band toured Europé,
including Sweden with Quadrophenia. (Actually, at the
first Who-convention in London in 1995, John and Roger
together with their band performed a large part of it.
